How Do My Ratings Affect Me?
Ratings are a great way for your students to let you, and other prospective students, know what a great job you are doing or what you can improve upon.
Shortly after each lesson is completed, your student will receive an email asking them to rate their experience with you. They can rate the lesson with a 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5.
Your average ratings will determine where your profile is placed on our website. The more high ratings you receive, the higher up you will be on our list of teachers, and the more likely you will be able to attract new students. Good ratings are also considered when achieving Featured Teacher status or salary increases in the future.
Poor ratings will lower your standing on the website and will mean you are less likely to attract new students.
Also, too many low ratings can result in being put on a temporary Watch and possible permanent suspension from teaching on the Rype platform.
