How Do I Get Higher Ratings?

If you see your ratings or your standing with Rype dropping, there are a few things you can do!

First and foremost, be sure to communicate with your Students before any scheduled lessons, especially the first lesson, to be sure you are able to reach each other when the lesson begins.

Be on time to your lesson with your student and give them your full attention for the entire duration of the scheduled lesson.

Make sure your audio and video quality are good and your connection is strong.

You may ask your student at the end of the lesson for their feedback.  If you believe they enjoyed their lesson, you can certainly educate or remind them of the rating email they should receive and encourage them to give you a good rating!

If your student seems unhappy, you can request that they give you another chance before rating your lessons.  Be sure to listen to and address their complaints.
