How and when will we be paid?

All of your lessons completed during a calendar month are paid out between the 15th and the 20th of the following month.  (For instance, lessons you complete between January 1st and January 31st will be paid out February 15th-20th).

You must earn at least $150 USD before payment would be remitted.  If you do not earn this amount in one month, it will roll over into your next month.  This will continue until you have earned at least $150 USD to be paid out in one lump sum.

This requirement is put in place to limit the amount of fees charged on your earnings via PayPal or Xoom.

PayPal charges 2.9% + $0.30 for each transaction made. 

For our teachers living in countries where PayPal transfers to your personal bank account aren't possible (like Colombia), we use Xoom. (https://www.xoom.com/) Fees for Xoom vary, but the average fee taken (in Colombia and Mexico, for instance) is $4.99 per transaction. 

No invoice is required.

All lessons will be tracked in your teacher platform and we will automatically pay you based on the time you've been booked within your calendar.

*Note: If a student books or arranges a lesson with you outside of our booking system, we won't be able to pay you for that time. Please make sure all lessons go through our scheduling system!
